Plot - Taking place a few weeks after where Ben 10: Alien Force leaves off, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien follows the now sixteen-year-old Ben. The Omnitrix has been destroyed and Ben must learn to master the secrets of the new Ultimatrix, a gauntlet-like version of the old Omnitrix that not only gives him access to all of his original powers and abilities, but also allows him to evolve his alien forms into even stronger and even more powerful versions (called "ultimate forms").
anybody who knows me well know that i'm a freaking BEN 10 fan!
seriously, i love watching the first incarnation of BEN 10.
when he was 10 years old of course(BEN 10 at the age of the 10,hmmmm)
the concept is really cool.
a boy with a watch(the omnitrix) that can change him to 10(and more) different aliens.
and even though Cartoon Network(CN) shows it like 1000 thousand times,
i still can't get enough.
i even know what time will it be showed.
errrr, i think i spoke to much.
anyway, i was excited when BEN 10: Alien Force was about to premiere.
it was 5 years after the first incarnation,
which means that Ben himself is 15 years old.
he still got the watch but with new set of aliens.
i wasn't impressed though.
i still love the show,
but it kinda lost its magic along the way.
with big gaps in the plot lines,
and also lack of ridiculous and hilarious journeys to a more serious and mature storyline.
this wasn't a walk in a park for me.
they should have done a bit more but it was too late.
then the third incarnation was born, BEN 10: Ultimate Alien.
Ben got a new watch,the ultimatrix(kinda like a gauntlet of sorts),
and the adventures awaits.
well, CN only shows the first half of the new series,
but it kinda looks promising.
it still have the more serious and mature tone.
but i think the writers are trying to get back with their fans by going to the old source,
the original BEN 10.
and i can't wait for the second half of it.
a hint to all of you,
a certain villain in the original BEN 10 returns
and even bad ass than ever,
to make it clear, more ULTIMATE version.
i hope this show will go on for awhile
and they better not screw things up!
they should really make a movie about Kevin's past life and not just for certain episodes, nuff said!
